Shazam Taps Post Malone For Ticketmaster Integration

Debuting with multi-genre superstar Post Malone, Shazam has announced a “360 program” allowing fans to discover Ticketmaster tickets through popular apps including Apple Music, Apple Maps and Shazam.

Post Malone, fresh off his “F-1 Trillion” album release and tour announcement, is the first artist to be featured in the new program.” Post Malone’s “F-1 Trillion Tour,” a country-specific jaunt, includes 21 stadium, festival and amphitheater performances around the U.S. and kicked off this weekend.

Along with finding concert tickets, Post Malone fans can download tour-themed Apple Watch faces and phone wallpapers, view concert photos, and more on the Shazam app and other touchpoints across Apple Music, Spotlight Search and a new interactive map on Shazam.com.

On the Shazam app, fans can “Save” their favorite artists to be notified of future content, tickets and more.

Fans will also be able to follow along with Post Malone’s tour on a new Apple Music Guide on Apple Maps and see his favorite stops on the road, which, while discovering new ways to find Post Malone tickets at the venues near them.

Posty was a fixture at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards, where his collaboration with Taylor Swift, “Fortnight,” was named Video of the Year and took home hardware in a whole slew of other categories, including Best Direction, Best Editing, Best Collaboration and Song Of The Summer.

From the stage at UBS Arena in New York, Swift said, “There is a very clear reason why Post Malone is everyone in music’s favorite person. You are so ridiculously talented, you are so versatile and you are the most down to earth person. Honestly so unfailingly polite, it has taken me forever to get him to stop calling me ma’am.”
