Electric Forest To Take Place June 17-22, 2025

Electric Forest is scheduled to take place from June 17 to 22, 2025, the Rothbury Village Council said in a meeting on Sept. 17 after receiving a letter from AEG Presents that the four-day music festival will be bumped up. Last year’s festival took place in Rothbury, Michigan, from June 19 to 23.

Partial lineups are typically announced in December, with tickets going on sale to the public shortly after.

Last year, Electric Forest featured performances by Everything Always (John Summit and Dom Dolla), Pretty Lights, Subtronics and Excision. The festival remains one of dance music’s landmark events each year, with String Cheese Incident annually performing several sets throughout the weekend.

“You can feel the passion the team spends year-round, curating every element of the show,” Alicia Karlin, VP of global turning and talent at AEG Presents, told Pollstar earlier this year. “All the fan programs that contribute to making it really unique. The art, artists, musicians and performing artists. We have a huge dedicated space to perform- ing artists as well. So, it’s just very different than anything else that people see around.”

The festival site itself sits on Double JJ Ranch in Rothbury, Michigan. In addition to GA campgrounds, the festival hosts numerous VIP camp offerings including bungalows and air-conditioned tents.
