Goose Launches Destination Festival Viva El Gonzo
Jammy favorites Goose has joined the ranks of artists with curated destination festivals, announcing Viva El Gonzo, set for May 8-10, 2025, in San José del Cabo, Mexico.
Presented by 100x Hospitality, the festival is anchored by three nightly performances by Goose, along with sets from The War on Drugs, Tycho, Dawes, LA LOM, LP GIOBBI and more.
The all-in-one ticket purchase includes festival access as well as customizable lodging, wellness offerings, beach access and more.
Travel packages for Viva El Gonzo go on sale Oct. 9 at 1 p.m. Eastern via VivaElGonzo.com, with a presale starting Oct. 8 at 1 p.m. Eastern for fans who sign up in advance. Over a dozen hotel choices will be available, from boutique stays to all-inclusive resorts. Each property is located within a five-mile radius of the main event grounds.
Fans will have the opportunity to further customize the adventure with additional activities, all-inclusive options and more. A limited number of “music only” tickets will be available for those who want to attend the festival and take care of their own lodging and transportation.
The venue — El Gonzo Oasis — will be just steps from the Sea of Cortez with multiple stages, pop-up experiences, wellness events and a marketplace of local vendors and cuisine.
Goose’s unrelenting touring schedule included three nights at Chicago’s Salt Shed in September, grossing $947,399 on 14,508 tickets, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports.
The band is booked in Asia, North America, Africa and New Zealand by Arrival Artists’ Karl Morse and Ethan Berlin. In South America, Europe, the UK and Australia, they are repped by Brian Cohen and Andy Nees at WME. Goose is managed by 11E1even Group.
