Cuffe And Taylor & Depot Live Launch Live Gig Series In Wales, UK
Live Nation promoters Cuffe and Taylor, and Depot Live, the live arm of Cardiff-based events venue The Depot, are set to launch a new series of live gigs in the Welsh capital.
The plan is to do four gigs with some of the biggest international touring artists across select weekends in the summer of 2025 at Blackweir Fields, the city’s largest greenfield venue with a capacity for 35,000 people – subject to licence.
The green space of Blackweir Live runs along the River Taff, and is set to become Cardiff’s new live music hotspot. The cooperation also cements the relationship between Cuffe and Taylor and Depot Live, who already work together to promote TK Maxx presents Cardiff Castle.
Over the past two years Cuffe and Taylor and Depot have presented almost 30 huge headlining shows at the castle. This year alone they welcomed 170,000 people to a series of concerts by Manic Street Preachers, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Avril Lavigne, Smashing Pumpkins, IDLES, Tom Grennan, and more.
