Trans-Siberian Orchestra and its fans are celebrating important milestones in 2024, as the annual holiday touring juggernaut celebrates 20 years of The Last Christmas Eve, the generation of $20 million in charitable donations, and its 20 millionth fan to pass through a concert turnstile at Ball Arena in Denver on Nov. 16.

When dedicated TSO fan Chuck Brabant’s ticket scanned as the 20 millionth concert attendee, he and his family – wife Erin and children Anne and CJ – were treated to front tow seats, an exclusive merch package and a backstage meet-and-greet plus photo with the troupe.

The attendance milestone coincides with the 20th anniversary of TSO’s iconic rock opera The Lost Christmas Eve and the milestone of surpassing $20 million in charitable donations. The production has donated $1 per ticket to charities since the debut of Christmas-themed rock opera. TSO’s Denver shows benefitted the Denver Post Community Foundation.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra first toured in 1999 after being formed by the late ex-Savatage producer Paul O’Neill. Originally a rock band with orchestra backing, TSO was so successful it was able to expand into two touring companies in 2001.

Over that timespan, TSO has reported 2,187 shows to Pollstar, for 17,133,707 tickets sold for an average of 11,461 tickets sold per engagement.  The production often performs both a matinee and evening show in each city.

TSO’s music director and lead guitarist, Al Pitrelli said, “Reaching 20 million tickets sold is a testament to the vision of our late founder, Paul O’Neill, whose dream continues to live on through our incredible fans. We are incredibly grateful for the unwavering support of our fans, whose passion has made these milestones possible.”

This year’s tour, which kicked off Nov. 13, marks the grand return of “The Lost Christmas Eve” to the stage for the first time since 2013. Fans attending can expect a completely reimagined staging, featuring brand-new visuals, cutting-edge pyrotechnics, and a high-energy second set packed with TSO’s greatest hits and fan favorites.
