WME Promotes Six To Music Agent
WME has promoted six new agents across its music department including Lauren Cunningham (based in Nashville), Yolande Poitras and Jake WIlk (both in Beverley Hills), Ella Fox (New York City) and Matt Fayers and Crosby Stewart (London). All six went through the company’s agent trainee program, starting off at WME as assistants.
Fayers first joined the company in 2018, with Cunningham starting in 2019 and rejoining in 2021. Poitras and Wilk both began at the company in 2019, while Fox and Stewart joined the agency in 2021.
Prior to her promotion, Cunningham was the assistant to Abby Wells Baas, while Poitras was the assistant to WME Global Head, Lucy Dickins. Wilk worked as the assistant to partner Rob Markus and Fox as the assistant to partner Caroline Yim. Fayers was an assistant for Andy Nees, while Stewart was teh assistant to Steve Hogan.
This year, WME’s music department booked over 40,000 shows and expanded its expertise in the Latin music market with a new office in Miami. This year’s biggest signing highlights included Billie Eilish, Linkin Park, Benson Boone and Becky G.
