Pollstar has learned that Jordan Anderson, who has booked Los Angeles’ iconic Troubadour since the fall of 2021, has been named Senior Talent Buyer of The Bellwether, the 1,500-cap club in downtown Los Angeles owned in partnership with Another Planet Entertainment and Michael Swier’s Teragram Presents. Anderson will oversee programming for the 45,000-square-foot building which includes two other performance spaces: The Virginian restaurant and Camille’s, a new 600-capacity room. She will also support the booking teams at Teragram Presents’ DTLA venues the Teragram Ballroom and Moroccan Lounge as well as Another Planets’ programming team. (Pollstar has also learned that Kyle LaValley was named the new talent buyer for The Troubadour).

“Jordan’s track record speaks for itself,” said Allen Scott, President of Concerts & Festivals for Another Planet Entertainment, in a statement. “She’s consistently championed artists early in their careers and created opportunities for them to connect with audiences in meaningful ways. Her experience, passion, and vision for live music make her an invaluable addition to the team as we take The Bellwether into its next chapter.”

“Jordan’s booking prowess has been so impressive, impacting the market to the degree that all in the business took notice,” Teragram Presents’ founder Michael Swier added. “Her love of discovery and promotion of acts is always visible, and to me, the essence of a true booker. ”

The Bellwether, which was formerly Prince’s Glam Slam and club Vertigo, opened in July of 2023 and quickly became one of L.A.’s most prominent independent venues attracting both top talent and sold-out shows. This has included acts like Wilco, Trey Anastasio, Haim, Mumford & Sons, Santigold, Tune-Yards and Panda Bear and Sonic Boom among others.

Anderson grew up in Tupelo, Miss and formerly interned at Brown Cat, Inc., Widespread Panic’s management firm in Athens GA and for AEG Presents in Nashville under Lenore Kinder, Ali Harnell and Dustin Turner. She would go on to work in marketing for Nashville’s Exit/In and Marathon Music Works, return to AEG to to work as a marketing manager, become an artist manager for LUTHI and Sparkle City Disco and then a talent buyer for AC Entertainment before heading west to The Troubadour.

“As I take my next step, after serving as the steward of up-and-coming artists at the Troubadour, I am very excited to join the legendary teams at Another Planet Entertainment and Teragram Presents,” stated Anderson, who set a Troubadour record in 2024 by booking more than 300 shows in a single year and bringing in major acts including Chappell Roan, Medium Build, Reneé Rapp. “I have been so lucky to work with many historical rooms in my career and will take that experience with me as I take the lead at The Bellwether, which is building its own vibrant history in LA. I have a serious passion for discovering new artists and helping to elevate them, so being able to also assist in adding to the calendars at the Moroccan Lounge and Teragram Ballroom while contributing to the Another Planet booking team brings this all full circle for me.”

Another Planet Entertainment’s Senior Talent Buyer, Nick Barrie, who helped put The Bellwether on the map as Head Talent Buyer, will continue on APE’s booking team and oversee Another Planet’s next venue venture: San Francisco’s historic Castro Theatre set to reopen early 2026 after a $40+ million restoration. He joins that venue’s booking team where he will lead on music programming and also work on Another Planet’s other ventures.
