Creative Artists Agency has hired Maxim Karlik as an agent in the Global Touring division. The role will see Maxim focusing on client strategy and new business opportunities across the agency.

Karlik, who will be based in CAA’s Los Angeles office, previously headed up UTA’s Music Crossover division.

Today’s announcement from CAA notes that the Music Crossover division focused on integrating music clients across the agency’s publishing, audio, film, television, video games, theater, and voiceover divisions, with Karlik’s work including overseeing Post Malone’s acting roles in “Happy Gilmore 2” and “Road House.” He also helped with the launch of Post Malone’s graphic novel Big Rig, which was published by Vault Comics in collaboration with Michael Bay.

Outside of his agency work, Karlik serves on the Advisory Board of the Save the Music Foundation and is a jury member for the upcoming Clio Awards. His accolades include being named one of IQ Magazine’s “New Bosses” in 2018 and featured on Hits Magazine’s list of “Noisemakers: Raising the Bar” in 2021.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Maxim to our team,” said CAA’s Co-Head of Global Touring Rick Roskin. “His deep passion for building authentic, high-impact opportunities for artists—paired with a proven track record of delivering meaningful results—makes him an ideal fit for our group’s vision. We’re excited for the collaborations and creative momentum he’ll help lead here at CAA.”

CAA booked more than 38,000 shows in 2025, representing the most top 100 worldwide touring artists than any other agency at 31%, according to Pollstar Boxoffice data.

CAA’s touring clients include The Weeknd, Ariana Grande, Post Malone, Katy Perry, Lana Del Rey, Dua Lipa,  Doja Cat, Rüfüs Du Sol, Jelly Roll, Kelly Clarkson, Blink182, Kelsea Ballerini, Peso Pluma, My Chemical Romance, Bruce Springsteen, System of a Down, The Eagles, Trevor Noah, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, along with many others.

Earlier this month Tony Goldring also joined CAA as an agent in the Global Touring division.
