Largest-Ever Aftershock Lineup Topped By Tool, My Chemical Romance, Limp Bizkit, Pierce The Veil Oct. 1-4; Camping Added For Sacramento Event

In yet another largest-yet festival announce for promoter Danny Wimmer Presents, Aftershock in Sacramento’s Discovery Park has announced 140-plus offer in for its biggest lineup yet, expanding the festival site with five stages and offer camping for a first time.
“This year’s Aftershock marks a bold new chapter for the festival,” says DWP founder Danny Wimmer in the announcement. “We’ve brought together metal, punk, emo, and nu-metal to create a lineup that’s raw, youthful, and unapologetic. With TOOL anchoring the weekend and Pierce The Veil making their headlining debut, we’re breaking boundaries and redefining what Aftershock can be. And after years of fan requests, we’re finally introducing camping.”
Topping the four-day festival’s lineup are My Chemical Romance, The Offspring, Sublime (Thursday), Limp Bizkit, $UICIDEBOY$, Wu-Tang Clan (Friday), Pierce The Veil, A Day To Remember and Babymetal (Saturday), and Tool, Queens of the Stage Age and Danny Elfman (Sunday). Filling out the daily lineups include bands like The Offspring, Coheed and Cambria, Dethklok, Dance Gavin Dance, Public Enemy, Insane Clown Posse, Black Dahlia Murder and many others.
Other notable appearances include a West Coast reunion show for Circa Survive, a 20th anniversary tour performance for Wolfmother, 25th anniversary set for Municipal Waste and much more.
Onsite experiences at the event include the Tremors Dive Bar, a new Cantina del Diablo open-air cantina featuring mexican street fare, tequila and more, the Aftershock x Jungle Bird Tiki Bar, and also new Overtime Sports Bar just steps away from the newly added The Point, a shaded area that will tune into the biggest games and sports action taking place over the weekend.
Also new is RV and car and tent camping at the nearby Cal Expo. Festival re-entry is included with camping passes, and shuttle passes will be available for purchase. Campers will gain access to a Wednesday Night Camping Pre-Party hosted by Rock & Brews and including complimentary beer and well drinks, mini golf, batting cages and more.
In 2025, Aftershock welcomed more than 164,000 fans from all 50 states and more than 30 countries, according to DWP, generating an estimated $39 million in local economic impact.
Four-day and single-day general admission, VIP and Capital Club passes are on sale now.
Fans in the Sacramento area can celebrate at the Official Aftershock Lineup Announcement Party on Wednesday, March 4 from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM at The Jungle Bird (2516 J Street) in Sacramento. The party will feature headliner themed tiki drinks, with the first 100 drinks on Aftershock, and a playlist featuring music from the festival lineup. All who attend will have a chance to win a pair of 4-Day General Admission Aftershock.
DWP continues to roll out lineups for its 2026 events, with both Louder Than Life and Bourbon and Beyond in Louisville announcing similar blockbuster bills in recent weeks and with organizers expecting a big year for the company.
“We’re pretty stoked, and we’re also off to a great start with Inkarceration in line with last year’s record attendance as well,” DWP Talent Services head of talent Del Williams said of the company’s upcoming May and July events. “We’re very fortunate, but I don’t think it’s luck. We’re making the right decisions and the team is amazing, with each one of our departments working in harmony to do the best we can.”
