UTA Signs Jay Wheeler

unnamed

United Talent Agency has signed Jay Wheeler for global representation in all areas, with the agency representing the Latin music superstar across live touring, media, brand partnerships, filmed entertainment, and additional strategic opportunities worldwide.

The news follows the announcement last week that UTA had signed fellow star and Wheeler’s wife, Zhamira Zambrano. Wheeler was previously represented by AUL WORLDWIDE. He’s managed by Luis Suárez

As today’s announcement from UTA points out, Wheeler is “recognized as one of the most emotionally resonant and authentic voices in Latin music today” and “has built a global fanbase through his seamless fusion of reggaeton, Latin trap, pop, and R&B.”

Wheeler’s most recent album is his eighth studio LP, 2025’s GIRASOLES, which was released via Linked Music, Dynamic Records and Empire. The album includes the single “Roma,” which earned him his third Latin Grammy nomination for Best Urban/Fusion Performance.

UTA included some key stats in its announcement including Wheeler’s 2024 “TRAPPii Tour” reaching more than 75,000 fans across the United States, Latin America, and Spain, while his breakout hit “La Curiosidad” “has amassed over 1.4 billion Spotify streams and more than 1 billion YouTube views, helping launch Wheeler into international stardom.”

Reports submitted to Pollstar Boxoffice for Wheeler include two October 2025 shows in his native Puerto Rico at Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, which sold a total of 27,033 and grossed $1,963,538.

His upcoming plans include the launch of a podcast, which promises to give fans “a deeper and more personal look into his life, artistry, relationships, and creative process.”
