2026 Impact 50 Honoree: Jay Marciano
JAY MARCIANO
Chairman & CEO
AEG Presents
BY THE NUMBER: Nearly 100 and 23. AEG’s global music venues and offices, respectively.

As Chairman and CEO of AEG Presents, one of the world’s largest live event companies, Jay Marciano is among the most seasoned, widely experienced, and consistently successful music executives in the live music space. He is responsible for overall operational oversight of all of AEG’s holdings in the touring and concert promotion divisions, AXS ticketing (one of the ticketing partners for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles) and a growing digital marketing division.
In Marciano’s 15-year tenure leading AEG Presents, the firm has promoted tours by Elton John, The Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran. On the festival front, AEG boasts a portfolio of over 30 festivals, including such iconic names as Coachella, British Summertime Hyde Park and New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, among others.
Marciano has prioritized the company’s global growth with the opening of several international offices and an expansion into Australia, Singapore, Japan and France. The executive’s global perspective stems, in part, from having grown up as the son of an Air Force officer stationed in Europe. This provided a foundation for his experience as President and CEO of AEG Europe from 2011 to 2013.
Marciano’s extensive background includes a run at L.A.-based Universal Concerts beginning in 1984, booking the Universal Amphitheater along with overseeing the development and operations of a portfolio of a dozen other amphitheaters, rising to President and CEO of the company. He also served as president of Madison Square Garden Entertainment from 2005 to 2011.
Recent highlights include a partnership with We Love Green festival in Paris, and the hiring of a new managing director in Korea, Jonathan Lee, who is opening the company’s first office in the territory. Also on AEG Presents’ plate are Celine Dion’s return in Paris; tours from Zach Bryan, Luke Combs, Lorde, Sabrina Carpenter and Kacey Musgraves; a partnership with Netflix to produce and promote the upcoming “Kpop Demon Hunters” tour; and the opening of London’s British Airways Arc.
