Over the past year, Lainey Wilson has continued to build on her breakout success with major achievements in touring, awards and personal milestones.

On Nov. 19, Wilson hosted the 2025 CMA Awards, which aired live on ABC from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. She was one of the night’s big winners, taking home Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year for Whirlwind and Entertainer of the Year – her second time winning the night’s top honor. Helming Wilson’s continued ascent is manager Mandelyn Monchick of Red Light Management / Find Out Management, whom Wilson has described as her best friend and an early believer. 

Wilson’s “Whirlwind World Tour” across the U.S., Canada, UK, Europe and Australia “was a huge accomplishment for the entire team and they were graciously honored with the Best Country Tour award at this year’s Pollstar Awards,” says Monchick. 

In the middle of the mutli-year tour, Wilson released a deluxe record anchored by her most recent No. 1 song “Somewhere Over Laredo,” which was also used in the trailer for the Netflix documentary “Lainey Wilson: Keepin’ Country Cool.” 

“I’m proud of the narrative and synergy we’ve continued to weave throughout the broad activity that makes up Lainey’s ecosystem,” adds Monchick.

Wilson is a standout in today’s country music landscape due in large part to her blend of traditional-leaning relatable storytelling, Louisiana roots, distinctive style and crossover appeal through both music and television – where she gained an early audience in 2022 on the hit TV series “Yellowstone.”

Monchick believes that success comes when you “lead with questions” and “drive with curiosity.” 

She says, “Asking better questions about people, creativity, strategy and connection is usually what leads to the best ideas and the most meaningful growth.”
