RICK ROSKIN
Co-Head Of Global Touring
CAA
BY THE NUMBER: 1978. the year of Roskin’s first concert – Cheap Trick & Kansas at Long Beach Arena, which he says “inspired me and my love of music and live entertainment.”

As co-head of global touring at what is considered the biggest and most powerful of the big Hollywood talent agencies, longtime music agent Rick Roskin not only represents his own long-term clients at a high level but also makes decisions at a macro level while thinking globally.
“Our ethos as leaders in the Touring department is to approach every challenge and opportunity, and to make every decision, based on what is best for the department as a whole,” says Roskin, whose own clients include Cheap Trick, Iron Maiden, Eagles, Eric Clapton, Santana and many others, along with running the agency’s music division alongside Darryl Eaton and Emma Banks. “Every time. To me, my job — and what fulfills me at this point in my career — is to invest in and support our agents and clients however I can to help create opportunities for everyone to succeed.”
He denies that there is any slowdown globally in the overall concert business and sees much to be optimistic about.
“We’ve seen explosive career growth and success for long-time clients who we’ve been fortunate enough to work alongside for many years. We’ve helped many clients achieve breakthrough moments and record-breaking tours, from major global sellouts to career-defining live milestones, while also signing exceptional new talent across multiple genres around the world,” he says. Recent high-profile signings include System Of A Down, Pierce The Veil, Train and Florida Georgia Line.
“I would push back on the idea that growth is flattening,” he says. “Demand for live entertainment and shared experiences continues to rise around the world, particularly for artists with strong fan connection and differentiated touring strategies.”
“Our focus has been on staying disciplined, strategic, and adaptable for both our clients and partners. That means building strategic tours, identifying new global markets and revenue opportunities, and continuing to invest in talent at every stage of development.”
