See Tickets by Eventim has announced partnerships with Glasgow, Scotland’s Braehead Arena, and London, England’s Ironworks and UNLOCKED Shoreditch.

The deal with Braehead Arena is part of the 5,300-capacity venue’s long-term partnership with Ghostwriter Events. It expands See Tickets’ existing relationship with Ghostwriter venues, including The Tramshed in Cardiff and XOYO in Birmingham.

Carl Bathgate, Commercial Director at Ghostwriter Events, commented, “We have a longstanding relationship with See Tickets, so partnering with them at Braehead Arena as we develop the venue’s programming felt like a natural fit. Their service, expertise in venue ticketing and the added value they deliver through effective marketing are highly valued by us.”

In London, new Thames-side venue Ironworks is using a 7,000-capacity warehouse space for electronic music programming, with a strong emphasis on production and making the most of the building’s industrial setting. It already has two sold-out shows with Eric Prydz and Charlotte De Witte, in addition to other exciting artists still on sale including CamelPhat, appetite and Jamie Jones.

LWE is one of the collaborators on the Ironworks project. Ricardo Pereira, Head of Ticketing at AMAAD, which owns LWE, commented, “We’re really excited about opening Ironworks. It’s the largest space we’ve worked in to date and represents an evolution of the warehouse experiences we’ve created over the years. Having access to both See Tickets and Eventim’s distribution channels is key to helping us reach the right audiences and promote the venue effectively.”

Finally, UNLOCKED Shoreditch is a three-floor, six-space, 1,220-capacity venue in East London, created from a formerly derelict warehouse. Its 900-capacity Basement will host electronic and live-music events, with SISTRA, Kenny Mason and Dizzee Rascal among the first artists to perform and many more already in the calendar, giving UNLOCKED Shoreditch a first huge step in its live music journey. The Basement has been designed specifically with live music in mind, while the wider venue will host everything from exhibitions and fashion shows to brand launches.

Nicos Rugeris, Brand Director at UNLOCKED, commented, “UNLOCKED is more than a music venue, it’s a home for creativity and community in Shoreditch. We’re excited to see our live programme taking shape, bringing together emerging and established artists. Our partnership with See Tickets will help us reach new audiences and create a seamless experience from discovery through to the event itself. We’re very excited.”

Rob Wilmshurst, CEO of See Tickets by Eventim: “We understand the operational pressures venues face. By combining the expertise of our in-house teams with technology that streamlines everyday reporting and processes, we help make their operations more efficient.

“Across marketing and ecommerce, our focus is on creating seamless customer journeys – from event discovery and purchase through to entry at the venue. We’re proud to partner with these three ambitious venues and look forward to supporting their long-term success.”
