Zeds Dead Announces Album Tour, ‘Return To The Spectrum Of Intergalactic Happiness’
After teasing their sophomore full-length album, Return To The Spectrum Of Intergalactic Happiness, during their July double-header at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Zeds Dead announced their album tour slated for spring 2025. The dates kick off on March 7 at Coca-Cola Roxy in Atlanta, Georgia, with stops in Boston, Nashville, New York City, Miami and more before wrapping up in their hometown of Toronto at The Theatre at Great Casino Resort Toronto on May 10.
The upcoming album serves as a nostalgiac travel through time, with Zeds Dead’s Hooks (real name Zachary Rapp-Rovan) and DC (real name Dylan Mamid) spending hours pouring through old videos to include as flips and projected behind them onstage as part of their visuals.
“This year we’re trying to look at the samples behind a lot of music,” Rapp-Rovan told Pollstar while speaking to the publication for their 2023 cover story. “We started making hip-hop, and we would sample a lot of things. We carried that over into Zeds Dead, but it was remixing while still sampling things. This show, we wanted to incorporate visuals that show where the samples came from, not just with our music but with the music we play, and showcase how many different eras of music are actually represented in our sets. We thought it would be a cool visual element, and that’s one of the things we’re working towards.”

The two began working on the concept in 2023 to create a new show for their annual Deadrocks dates in Denver, which are the pair’s landmark dates each year. Each year, they try to one-up themselves and create a new set that sets the stage for all their performances until the next year.
“In 2021, we played the greatest hits, so to speak – not that we have any hits,” Rapp-Rovan said. “After we did that, we went deeper into our catalog. Now, it has to be different from both of those.”
They stuck with the concept since, making it even bigger for their 2024 Red Rocks dates and getting to work on their sophomore LP to accompany their new direction.
Among 233 headline reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice, Zeds Dead has sold a total of 533,130 tickets grossing $22.3 million. Their two dates at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, on July 2 and 3 sold 18,579 tickets grossing $1.2 million.
Zeds Dead is managed by 2+2 Management’s Adam Gill, Harrison Bennett and Arielle Beatty and booked by Wasserman Music’s Cody Chapman and Zach Berkowitz.
