AEG Presents Acquires Auguri Productions In France

AEG Presents has announced the acquisition of Auguri Productions, a leading company in artist production and development in France. Founded in 1997 by president and founder Charles Bensmaine, Auguri Productions has established itself as one of France’s leading companies in artist development over the years.
Bensmaine and his team have played a key role in launching and developing the careers of numerous major artists from the French and French-speaking music scene, including Stromae, Angèle, Louane, Julien Doré, David Guetta, Dominique A, Philippe Katerine, -M-, Gazo, Sofiane Pamart, Tiakola, Gaël Faye, Vanessa Paradis, Thomas Dutronc, Yodelice and Jain.
Following the acquisition, Auguri Productions will leverage the scale, expertise and international network of AEG Presents, unlocking new development opportunities for its artists and helping connect local talent with global audiences.
As AEG Presents France MD Arnaud Meersseman told Pollstar recently, “developing local artists is a strategic priority for AEG Presents France. We are committed to identifying talent early, supporting artists as they grow and helping them build sustainable careers over the long term. That means investing not only in established names but also in the next generation of French artists who have the potential to reach larger audiences both in France and internationally.”
The acquisition of Auguri Productions supports this mission in a market, that has an incredibly strong local scene driven by domestic talent. Plus, as Meersseman told Pollstar, “French audiences have a genuine appetite for homegrown artists.”
The acquisition of Auguri Productions marks the next step in AEG Presents’ growth strategy within the French market, “further strengthening its expertise in identifying, developing and supporting local talent,” according to today’s announcement.
Beyond France, AEG Presents continues to expand its European footprint. Just last month, the company solidified its relationship with leading Belgian promoter Greenhouse Talent, a long-standing local partner in Benelux; and opened its first German office, led by 2026 Pollstar Women of Live Honoree Sina Hall.
“Through its network of strategic partnerships, AEG Presents leverages local expertise, industry relationships and global reach to deliver greater opportunities for artists and audiences,” today’s announcement concludes.
