Sick Call: Taylor Swift Reschedules Shows

Feeling under the weather, the country songstress has postponed dates scheduled for the next five days.

Signs that Taylor Swift wasn’t feeling up to snuff first emerged during the Fourth of July Weekend when she postponed her July 2nd show at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Ky., until Oct. 11, marking the first time she had ever missed a scheduled performance.

Turns out bronchitis is the culprit keeping Swift off the concert stage. In addition to the Louisville gig, Swift’s July 8 appearance in Charlotte, N.C. at the Time Warner Cable Arena has been moved to Nov. 16 and her two nights in Atlanta originally planned for July 9-10 are now scheduled for Oct. 1-2 at Philips Arena.

Swift’s next scheduled appearance is July 14 in Montreal, Quebec, at the Bell Centre.

“It breaks my heart to miss out on this weekend’s shows with my friends in Charlotte and Atlanta,” Swift said in a statement. “I would never cancel if I thought I was physically able to perform these shows. I am so sorry to the fans, but I look forward to seeing you when we come back through your towns, which we will do.”
