3 Arraigned In LA Slaying Of MTV Music Coordinator
Three people have been arraigned in connection with a string of 10 armed robberies and two killings, including the shooting death of an MTV music coordinator in Los Angeles.
Los Angeles County district attorney’s spokeswoman Jane Robison says that 29-year-old Destiny Young entered her not guilty plea Thursday to two counts of murder and six counts of robbery with two special circumstances that could make her eligible for the death penalty.
Twenty-six-year-old Jabaar Thomas pleaded not guilty to three counts of robbery and one count of a felon being in possession of a handgun, while 33-year-old Richard Anderson pleaded not guilty to six robbery counts.
The three were arrested on May 11, three days after the body of MTV staffer Gabriel Ben-Meir was found near his apartment.
