More Bob At Bluesfest
Originally scheduled for April 21-25, Bluesfest will now also include an additional day of fun on April 26. The festival takes place at Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm.
The event made headlines a few months back for promoter Peter Noble’s struggle to add the additional date. After the Byron Shire Council delayed making a decision about the extension, Noble threatened to take legal action. According to a post on the festival’s website, the council voted in favor of the extra day during a meeting in January.
Dylan will share both Monday and Tuesday’s lineup with Elvis Costello & The Imposters.
The April 26 lineup, which falls on Australia’s Anzac Day Holiday, will also include performances from Gurrumul, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Paul Kelly, Tim Finn, Tony Joe White, Eli “Paperboy” Reed and The Mad Bastards.
Bluesfest’s website promises that more artists will be added to the extra day’s lineup.
Tickets to Tuesday’s show are on sale now at the special pre-sale price of $136. VIP and children’s tickets are also available in addition to camping passes.
The other five days of the festival will be packed full of performances from artists including Ben Harper, B.B. King, Michael Franti & Spearhead, ZZ Top, John Legend, Jethro Tull, Grace Jones,
