It’s not every day you get to see an all-female Belgian choir, but Scala & Kolacny Brothers are giving you that opportunity when the vocal group lands on our shores for a tour stretching from mid-March to the first week of May.

The choir is accompanied by Steven Kolacny on piano while his brother Stijn conducts the group through the songs, sometimes mouthing every word while leading the ladies through each number. Along with creating exquisite cover versions of songs originally recorded by groups such as Depeche Mode, Divinyls, Kings Of Leon and Nirvana, the group has also recorded a few originals, such as its “Self-Fulfilling Prophecy” seen in the clip below.

The group’s self-titled debut album drops March 15 on ATCO and includes, in addition to a live version of “Creep,” choir versions of Peter Gabriel’s “Solsbury Hill,” Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters,” U2’s “With Or Without You” and Foo Fighters’ “Everlong.”

Although Scala & Kolacny Brothers begin their U.S. adventure with a SXSW date at Stubb’s Bar-B-Q in Austin March 18, the actual tour doesn’t launch until April 7 in Vancouver, B.C., at Commodore Ballroom. Other dates include April 8 in Seattle at Showbox SoDo, April 11 in San Francisco at The Independent, April 14 in Los Angeles at the El Rey Theatre; April 15 at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival; April 23 in Chicago at Park West; April 28 at New York’s Webster Hall; April 30 in Toronto at The Opera House and May 1 at Montreal’s Club Soda.
