Lifehouse Is ‘All In’ For Fall Headline Tour

Lifehouse will be showing off tunes from the alternative band’s fifth studio album, Smoke and Mirrors. The album was released in March on Geffen Records and singles include “Halfway Gone” and “All In.” The tune “Had Enough” features guest vocals by Chris Daughtry.

“One of the differences from this record compared to the last is it shows a lot of growth in the band while still maintaining that Lifehouse sound,” bassist Bryce Soderberg told About.com in an interview earlier this year. “We explored new directions. We tried to kind of raise the bar on this record and try out some synth sounds.

“We did some co-writes on this record with different artists. Jason [Wade] wrote with Kevin Rudolf and Chris Daughtry. We just took a year and a half on this record. We took our time to develop the band and try and make the best record that we could. So it’s not exactly the same. You can’t keep making the same record over and over again.”

The fall tour kicks off Oct. 15 at MGM Grand At Foxwoods in Mashantucket, Conn., and wraps up Nov. 24 at the Roseland Theater in Portland, Ore.

The band will also be making stops at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C. (Oct. 24), Palladium Ballroom in Dallas (Nov. 2), The Pageant in St. Louis (Nov. 9), The Joint in Las Vegas (Nov. 19) and Nob Hill Masonic Center in San Francisco (Nov. 21).

Kris Allen will be joining the tour as support.

In September Lifehouse heads to Europe, playing gigs lined up in the Netherlands, Germany and the United Kingdom.
