Rain’s Lawsuit Pain
Today was not a good day for South Korean popstar Rain. He and his managers must pay a promoter more than $8 million for canceling a 2007 gig in Honolulu.

A federal jury decided Rain and his company were guilty of breach of contract and had defrauded the promoter behind the date – Click Entertainment.
Of the more than $8 million judgement, nearly $5 million were punitive.
Rain and his company canceled the show scheduled at Aloha Stadium only a few days before the June 15, 2007 play date. The date was intended to be Rain’s first stop on his “Rain’s Coming” U.S. Tour.
