Apparently the band is looking at different pricing plans for when it hits the road this summer in support of the group’s newest album, No Line On The Horizon.

According to ContactMusic.com, Bono said the band hopes to price tickets low enough that economically stressed fans can still see their heroes as well as pricier packages for the band’s richer followers.

“We’re trying to work on some cheaper ticket prices because this is the recession. We’re also going to have some very expensive ticket prices because rich people have feelings too!

“We’ve got something very special planned, something we’ve been working on for many years, a whole way of trying to do shows outdoors and make them very intimate.”

U2 is expected to announce its world tour on March 9.
