Additional dates include shows at Peabody’s Downunder in Cleveland (Jan. 24), The Chance Theatre in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. (Jan. 30), two nights at Scout Bar in San Antonio (Feb. 12-13) and Key Club in West Hollywood, Calif. (Feb. 18).

Frontman Spider, younger brother of Rob Zombie, said the upcoming album was inspired by fans at the 2008 San Diego Comic Con.

“I remember standing on the convention floor at the 2008 San Diego Comic Con,” Spider said. “I was surrounded by ten thousand or more freaks, geeks and weirdos – all obsessed with robots, monsters and super heroes. I thought to myself, ‘These are my people and Powerman 5000 is their band!’ I went home completely energized and immediately started work on the album.”
