NYN-TV launched in 2006 in five cities, and expands this year with simulcasts of New Year’s Eve parties in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Minneapolis, New York City, Seattle, Philadelphia and Portland, Ore.

Each city will have live events for the locals, and feature TRVSDJAM originating at The Lot in Los Angeles and broadcast on HD screens. Sports fans won’t even have to dislodge from their La-Z-Boys – portions of the bash will be featured on ESPN’s “Red Bull: New Year. No Limits” special beginning at 11 p.m. EST, right after the Chick-Fil-A Bowl.

Tickets for the live shows range from a low of $100 in Minneapolis to $200 in Las Vegas, where DJ Jazzy Jeff heads a lineup of music spinners in Paris hotel/casino clubs Risque and Ah Sin. VIP tickets top out at $300, also in Vegas. Tickets for all but the Philadelphia party can be purchased at NewYearsNation.com.

In addition to the shows inside the Vegas landmark, daredevil Robbie Maddison will uphold another fine Sin City tradition by attempting to launch a motorcycle more than 120 feet into the air and land on top of the 96-foot-high faux Arc de Triomphe in front of Paris Las Vegas.

Clubs hosting New Year’s Nation parties include Tongue & Groove in Atlanta, the Old Red Courthouse in Dallas, The Curtis in Denver, Epic Event Center in Minneapolis, Cipriani Wall Street in NYC, Crystal Tea Room in Philadelphia, the Crystal Ballroom in Portland and the Seattle Aquarium. Organizers expect 15,000 guests total.

Barker and DJ AM survived a plane crash recently after performing a show. Both were badly burned; DJ AM made his return to the stage at the reopening of the Hollywood Palladium, laying down beats for Jay-Z.
