Is There No Doom In Beauty?
The band will launch the run Jan. 15 at Ottobar in Baltimore and will hit clubs across the country before wrapping things up with a pair of shows Feb. 14-15 at New York City’s Bowery Ballroom.
Along the way, Los Campesinos! will drop in at The Earl in Atlanta (Jan. 17), Exit/In in Nashville (Jan. 24), One Eyed Jacks in New Orleans (Jan. 27), Club Dada in Dallas (Jan. 31), Logan Square Auditorium in Chicago (Feb. 7) and Paradise Rock Club in Boston (Feb. 13).
Joining the band for the duration of the trek are New Jersey shoegazers Titus Andronicus.
Los Campesinos! has quickly gained a following since the release of 2007’s EP Sticking Fingers Into Sockets and this year’s Hold On Now, Youngster…
We Are Beautiful, which hit the streets last month, has also garnered the band some critical acclaim, with Spin saying, “the septet maintain that the best medicine for a broken heart is some quality time spent bouncing around to a scrappy melody.”
