On The Road With ‘Seinfeld’
Ten years after taking its final bow, “Seinfeld,” which has been turned into a mobile experience featuring everything about the show about nothing will wrap up another chapter this weekend, when the Seinfeld Campus Tour completes its 15,000-mile journey Nov. 21-22 at the Comedy Festival outside of Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
The 60-foot long, bio-diesel fueled bus has visited 30 cities across the U.S., including New York City, Los Angeles, Dallas, Boston and Phoenix, Ariz.
The exhibit features snacks inspired by the show (Twix, black & white cookies, Snickers and Junior Mints); Kramer’s Yogurt Bar and a mini-museum of treasures including costumes, the Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series, an original script and props.
Also included are video displays presenting famous moments from the series, laptops to explore “Seinfeld” on the Internet, a wall of framed production and gallery stills and a chance to win prizes playing carnival games including “Marine Biologist Hole-in-One” and “Monk’s Diner Plate Toss.”
Complete details on the interactive experience are available at the show’s official Web site.
