Touring stalwart Steve Forbert continues to fill in his calendar through early 2009. Just added destinations include Hamilton, Ontario; Philadelphia; Albany, N.Y.; Providence, R.I.; and Teaneck, N.J.

Some people say The Hold Steady is the best thing since The Band. Folks in the U.K. can judge for themselves in December, when the group hits Sheffield, Oxford, Nottingham, Manchester, Bristol, Portsmouth, Wolverhampton and London.

Septegenarian presidential candidates aren’t the only thing to come from Arizona. Heavy metal rockers Soulfly are hitting the trail next month, with recently revealed stops in McAllen, Texas; Hammond, La.; Atlanta and New Port Richey, Fla.
