Probably the last thing any one expected to see here at Pollstar.com HQ was a string of dates for
Backstreet Boys update today with listings for the U.S. and Canada. On Halloween the boys will scare up some action in Montlcair, New Jersey, at the Wellmont Theatre. On November 2 the town is Wallingford, Connecticut, and the venue is Chevrolet Theatre. Quebec City gets the gang for a November 4 show at Pavillon de la Jeunesse. Winnipeg hosts them on November 12 at the MTS Centre and look for them on November 17 in Kamloops, British Columbia, at the Interior Savings Centre. Other new stops include Reading, Pennsylvania, London, Ontario, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
Funny lady Lisa Lampanelli loads up on the 2009 gigs. New shows include Pittsburgh on January 100 at Byham Theaer, Austin on February 7 at Paramount Theatre, Atlantic City on February 15 at Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa and Minneapolis on May 2 at Orpheum Theatre. The new schedule also includes stops in Detroit, Cincinnati, Portland, San Diego and Indianapolis.
And we have a November update from The Blasters. New gigs include November 8 in St. Louis at Beale On Broadway, November 12 in Milwaukee at Shank Hall, November 15 in Columbus, Ohio, at The Thirsty Ear and November 21 in Asbury Park at The Saint.
