The four-day fest is expected to attract more than 25,000 fans to see more than 30 artists perform on five stages from the early afternoon until long after midnight.

Ludvig Berghe, Abraham Burton, Yellowjackets, Davell Crawford, Rigmor Gustafsson and Bobo Stenson Trio are performing the first day of the festival, as is Tower of Power.

On July 17, Jazzkamikaze, Looptroop Rockers, Till Bronner, Marit Bergman, Seppo Kantonen & Tokka, Christian Kjellvander and Alberto Pinton will take the stage, along with The Soundtrack Of Our Lives.

Patti Smith will be joined by Kullrusk, E.S.T., Stevie Klassons Fat Chance, Svante Thuresson, SFJAZZ Collective, Ludvig Berghe and Tommy Korberg July 18.

Winding down the festival, Van Morrison will do his thing July 19 along with Joan Armatrading, Anders Bergcrantz, Tommy Korberg, Wildbirds & Peacedrums, Peter Asplund, Amanda Sedgwick & Delightness, Scott Hamilton, Trondheim Jazz Orchestra and Esperanza Spalding.

Stockholm Jazz Festival is one of the oldest festivals in Sweden as well as one of Stockholm’s biggest events.

A few of the past big-name artists to perform at the fest include Sting, Lauryn Hill, Steely Dan, Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, Chaka Khan, Jamiroquai, Dave Holland, B.B. King, Ella Fitzgerald, Dizzy Gillespie and Chet Baker.
