Mick Jones And Tony James Put Carbon/Silicon On The Road
Veteran Rockers Mick Jones (The Clash, Big Audio Dynamite) and Tony James (Generation X, Sigue Sigue Sputnik) will hit the road this month with their garage rock outfit Carbon/Silicon to spread the word about the band’s first physical full-length, The Last Post.
The trek kicks off with a showcase performance March 13 at Friends in Austin during the South By Southwest Music And Media Conference and wraps with a set April 26 at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival in Indio, Calif.
Other stops include the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles (March 19), Richard’s on Richards in Vancouver (March 22), Chop Suey in Seattle (March 23), Record Bar in Kansas city, Mo. (March 29), Double Door in Chicago (March 31), Lee’s Place in Toronto (April 2), the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. (April 6), the 20th Century Theatre in Cincinnati (April 9) and The Social in Orlando, Fla. (April 15).

Besides Jones and James, Carbon/Silicon also features touring members Leo Williams on bass and Dominic Greensmith on drums.
Post, which was released last October, features 10 songs remixed by producer Bill Price (The Clash, Sex Pistols) that had previously been released on Carbon/Silicon’s digital only albums A.T.O.M. and Western Front, along with one new track.
