The Cribs, twins Gary and Ryan Jarman and younger brother Ross, suffered a run of bad luck earlier this year, when vocalist/guitarist Ryan was taken to the emergency room after passing out during a performance in Birmingham, U.K.

His twin was admitted to the hospital two days later with what turned out to be blood poisoning caused by cuts from the strings of his bass guitar.

Whatever is The Cribs’ third studio album and was produced by Franz Ferdinand‘s Alex Kapranos.
