The 38-city trek follows about the same route as Nutini’s tour with Winehouse would have and kicks off September 7 at the Ablright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo, N.Y.

Other stops include Higher Ground in South Burlington, Vt. (September 10), Stubb’s Bar-B-Q in Austin (September 14), The Wiltern in Los Angeles (September 21), the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver (September 24), the Vic Theatre in Chicago (October 2), the Murat Egyptian Room in Indianapolis (October 10), Harry O’s in Park City, Utah (October 19), and Tabernacle in Atlanta (October 27).

Festival stops on Nutini’s schedule include Virgin Festival at Toronto’s Island Park (September 8), the Austin City Limits Music Festival in the city’s Zilker Park (September 15), San Diego Street Scene at Coors Amphitheatre in Chula Vista, Calif. (September 23), and the Voodoo Music Experience in New Orleans City Park (October 28).

The singer’s dates with Amy Winehouse will be rescheduled in 2008, though ticket holders can obtain refunds at points of purchase.

Nutini said while the postponement is unfortunate, he’s still looking forward to working with Winehouse.

“I’m terribly disappointed we have to delay these shows,” Nutini said. “I’ll be thinking a good thought for Amy. She is a remarkable talent and I’m very much looking forward to sharing stages with her in the New Year. In the meantime, I’m truly excited about this upcoming tour of North America.”

In related news, concerns for Winehouse’s well-being increased after a widely reported August 23rd incident involving the singer and her husband. The couple reportedly had a fight in the hotel they’re currently staying in, which spilled out into the street.
