The four bands will start the trip May 13 at the Varsity Theatre in Minneapolis. They’ll cover Iowa, Kansas and Missouri before heading west for the remainder of the tour. After a pair of Southern California shows, they’ll wrap at The Clubhouse in Tempe, Ariz., May 29.

My American Heart toured back and forth across North America for most of last year, opening for Halifax, Head Automatica, and The Receiving End of Sirens in addition to several headlining runs.

The group has been working on the follow-up to its 2005 debut, The Meaning In Makeup, for release on the Warcon label.
