Aerosmith Goes Euro
Aerosmith has announced a European tour that will stretch for more than five weeks as part of its 2007 world tour.
The band, which is currently finishing up work on a new studio album, will also visit Mexico, Argentina, the United Arab Emirates and India for select dates before launching its first European trek since 1999.
They’ll start things off June 6 in Rander, Denmark, hitting nearly a dozen countries before wrapping in Moscow July 12.
“It’s been way too long since we’ve played the U.K. and Europe,” guitarist Joe Perry said. “Some of the most unforgettable gigs in my life have been played to incredible European fans.
“You know, eight years is a long time in the world of rock and roll,” he continued. “In some ways, these gigs will feel like the first time. So, let’s get together and see if it was as good for you as it was for us.”
