KT Gets In Touch
Scottish one-woman band KT Tunstall will return to the U.S. this year for more than a month’s worth of shows in support of her new album.
She’ll start with Philadelphia’s Electric Factory September 8, covering the South and Midwest extensively before finishing in Providence, R.I., October 11.
Tunstall, who uses a loop pedal to build her multi-layered compositions onstage, has already toured the U.S. several times this year with opening acts including Willy Mason, Teitur and Micah P. Hinson. Her June concerts included sellouts in Boston and Washington, D.C.
The singer/songwriter’s debut album, Eye To The Telescope, was released Stateside in February. The disc was nominated for the U.K.’s prestigious Mercury Music Prize last year.
