Lighting A Cherry Bomb
That changed when the singer/songwriter decided to spend more time at home and get better acquainted with his four daughters. Apparently, they’re able to take care of themselves because Crowell is back to his old tricks.
Starting March 16 in Austin, Texas, Crowell is going all over the right-half of the country, winding things down at Mountain Stage on June 26. Those folks in New York and the blue state of California will also see him on July 22 and September 24 respectively.
Crowell recently released an album with Vince Gill and other Nashville cats under the group name The Notorious Cherry Bombs. He already has an ASCAP lifetime achievement award, a Grammy, and the distinction of being the only man to write, sing and produce five consecutive No. 1 songs in the country music field.
Not bad for the dude who used to be Emmylou Harris‘ rhythm guitarist … and songwriter.
