Summer for DMB fans begins June 1 at the UMB Bank Pavilion in Maryland Heights, Mo., and runs through at least September 7 at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Bonner Springs, Kan.

Matthews and the band spent the long winter months recording an as-yet-named forthcoming album, and is itching road test it.

The summer trek hits all of the major sheds and, in many instances, DMB has booked multiple dates.

Two-day stops include at the Post-Gazette Pavilion in Burgettstown, Pa.; Germain Amphitheatre in Columbus, Ohio; Verizon Wireless Music Center in Noblesville, Ind.; Meadow Music Theatre in Hartford, Conn.; Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.; Tweeter Center at the Waterfront in Camden, N.J.; and Sound Advice Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Fla.; Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Wis.; SBC Park, San Francisco; and Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.

In the Pacific Northwest, Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Wash., has inked in three dates and made camping available.

The shed tour is an addition to some major festivals already on DMB’s itinerary, including the April 30th and the fourth in Manchester, Tenn., June 10-12.

This year, the Warehouse will be offering preferred lawn tickets and Warehouse premier parking at many DMB shows. Camping tickets will also be offered to Warehouse members for the Gorge Amphitheatre shows.
