Chevelle, Helmet, Crossfade, Future Leaders Of The World, and Strata are featured on the road trip that combines hot rock and snow sports.
The trek starts at the 8150 Club in Vail, Colo., January 22 and will coincide with the U.S. FreeSkiing Open championships taking place there.
Among the tour stops are Salt Lake City; Las Vegas; San Diego; San Francisco; Seattle; Boise, Idaho; St. Louis; Detroit; Cleveland; South Burlington, Va.; Sayreville, N.J.; and Myrtle Beach, S.C.; before wrapping up at the House of Blues in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., March 13.
The tour was founded in 1995 by the members of Sublime, booking agent Rick Bonde and music entrepreneur John Boyle and has since surpassed its original purpose.
“Originally, we just wanted to go snowboarding and skiing for free, and this was a way to do it,” Boyle said in a statement. “The first year was a dozen shows in ski resort towns in the Western U.S. We snowboarded during the day and put on concerts in ski lodges at night.
“Since that time, the tour has outgrown most resort markets and now routes through mostly major markets in the country, with only a couple of resort stops a year.”
