With an eclectic combo of alternative metal, neo-shock rock, and rap metal, the Des Moines, Iowa, natives will perform about a week’s worth of concerts throughout Canada. Appearing with the band on those dates – which include Quebec, Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia – will be fellow metalheads Killswitch Engage and Unearth.

In May, Slipknot released its fourth album, Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses, on Roadrunner Records. Following that release, the band toured throughout the summer – including Ozzfest 2004 – with several acts including Metallica, Korn, Hatebreed, Shinedown, God Forbid, and many others. September found the Knots co-headlining with Slayer on a four-week jaunt of Europe and the U.K.

After terrorizing Canadians with their eerie third generation masks, Slipknot will head to Australia for the traveling Big Day Out festival. Joining them will be System of a Down, Hatebreed, Steriogram, and others. Those gigs will span from late January and into early February.
