Studdard Cancels Gigs
Former “American Idol” champ Ruben Studdard was forced to cancel two gigs November 26-27 at Caesars Atlantic City in New Jersey after being hospitalized.
The singer was in his Birmingham, Ala., hometown November 22nd when he fell ill and decided to take himself to the hospital, according to Liz Morentin of J Records.
Exhaustion was to blame, but more tests were to be performed at press time.
Morentin added that Studdard “will likely remain in the hospital through the end of the week. All promotion for his new album this week has been canceled.”
His newest album, I Need an Angel, was released November 23rd.
