Earlier in the year, the group canceled a series of spring concerts – including an appearance at the Coachella Festival – when frontman Jeff Tweedy checked into rehab for a painkiller addiction.

They were set to appear on several Lollapalooza dates before that entire tour fell through.

The band – made up of original members Tweedy and John Stirratt with Glenn Kotche, Mikael Jorgensen, Pat Sansone, and Nels Cline – released its fifth album, A Ghost Is Born, in June on Nonesuch Records. The disc, which follows 2002’s Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, has met with widespread critical acclaim.
