Tony’s Wonderful World
With a stage career stretching back to the 1930s, Tony Bennett has been performing longer than most of his fans – even the older ones – have been alive. The pop singer’s first hit came more than five decades ago, and he’s been popular with audiences of all ages ever since.
He’s continuing to wow the crowds this year with live performances scheduled clear into November. August and September look to be particularly busy months for the crooner, with dates all over the lower 48.
The singer won his 12th Grammy in February for his work with k.d. lang on the Louis Armstrong tribute album A Wonderful World. He dedicated the award to close friend and colleague Rosemary Clooney, who passed away in 2002.
