Here Comes Xiu Xiu
There’s a spring tour in store for Xiu Xiu. The experimental indie rockers, who had to nix a 35-date tour last spring when their equipment was stolen, are setting out in March on a North American stretch in support of their new album.
The tour officially kicks off March 5 in Portland, Ore., and so far the dates stretch through the end of the month. Some Texas dates are strongly rumored, and they may see California in early April, but that’s all still unconfirmed.
The prolific post-punks put out several releases last year, including their second full-length, A Promise; the Fag Patrol EP; and a split tour CD with Jim Yoshii Pile-Up. Their third full-length, Fabulous Muscles, is due out February 17 on 5 Rue Christine.
