The Circle Jerks formed at the tail-end of the first wave of punk in 1980, when Black Flag and Redd Kross members Keith Morris and Greg Hetson left their respective bands to form their own hardcore punk group. Their LP, Group Sex, was released the same year and earned the band a slot in the American punk revolution.

After sporadic touring and at least a couple of break-ups in the ‘90s, the band reunited in 2001 and has since done several Stateside tours.

G.B.H. was born in Birmingham in 1979 by vocalist Colin Abrahall, singer Colin Blyth, and bassist Ross Lomas. The band’s explosive punk-metal sound made them a touchstone for countless modern hardcore, thrash and speed-metal bands.

Despite a revolving cast of drummers, G.B.H. has been steadily recording and touring since their inception.

The current outing looks to remain mostly east of the Mississippi. Los Angeles newcomers The Bronx and fellow SoCal punks Missing 23rd are scheduled to open all dates.
