Back In Your System
Saliva then hit Europe up for three weeks, stopping by big name venues throughout the Continent and the U.K. in February. They’ll be appearing with Stone Sour for all the U.K. shows.
The band recently got a boost when lead singer Josey Scott teamed up with Chad Kroeger of Nickelback for the hit single “Hero,” which was featured on the “Spider-Man” soundtrack. Maybe Scott is the magic ingredient because Saliva’s latest single, “Always,” from their recently released album Back In Your System, is getting some heavy radio airplay as well.
Greenwheel aren’t exactly shrinking violets either. The newbie band has garnered rave reviews for their hot live shows. Last year, they supported Hoobastank and Our Lady Peace, which kept the St. Louis band on the road for most of 2002. Their debut album, Soma Holiday, was released in June and is actually one of the band’s many former names.
Like Greenwheel, Breaking Benjamin have only been around for a couple of years, but the band is already stamping a name for themselves. After a local radio DJ caught the band’s live act, he put their single on-air and helped finance the group’s EP. Shortly thereafter, Breaking Benjamin were signed to Hollywood Records and released their full-length debut Saturate in August 2002.
