Then The String Cheese Incident move onward, playing mostly Midwest and Southern shows through the month of April. Special nights along the trek include a show with Ozomatli in Chicago on the 12th and two with Keller Williams – Chicago (13) and Ann Arbor (14).

Tickets go on sale for all shows February 21.

Prior to the tour, The String Cheese Incident are doing something a little different for their annual International Incident. Usually, the band performs one International Incident in a balmy, foreign locale such as Jamaica, Mexico and Costa Rica.

“The idea is that from time to time we are excited to put together a special Incident that is inside the USA. This will not correspond with a tour, but will stand on its own as a destination Incident – a place where we can all come together outside of a normal tour environment and enjoy an extended period of time together in a great environment,” the band explained.

This year, they’ve renamed the outing the Intranational Incident and are taking the festivities to Maui. With one-man-band Keller Williams in tow, The band invades the Royal Lahaina Resort February 16-17.

After their tropical break, The String Cheese Incident head back to the mainland for six shows in their home state – Colorado.
