Turn Up The Stereophonics
Welsh rockers Stereophonics team up with Irish newcomers JJ72 for a North American tour in January and February. Starting on the West Coast and making their way East, the two bands will stick around for 14 dates, playing mostly large clubs.
Stereophonics had previously scheduled a fall North American tour but chose to cancel out of respect for the September 11 tragedy. Shortly thereafter, they were enlisted to support a few dates on U2‘s second North American Elevation tour.
Opening act JJ72 are largely unheard of Stateside but they’ve made quite a splash in their homeland. With the release of their self-titled debut last year, the indie trio have quickly become one of the most talked about bands in Irish rock.
JJ72 just wrapped up a tour supporting Pete Yorn and Remy Zero, and are currently sharing Coldplay‘s stage for a few dates.
