Aerosmith Rocks On
Joining the Beantown rockers October 15 through December 17 are reunited English psychedelic rockers The Cult.
The new gigs have Aerosmith up in Canada for a few shows. Then they continue down the East Coast before hitting the South and Midwest.
The Just Press Play tour has been going full blast since June 6 and stopped in more than 40 cities already, raking in more than $25 million.
Singer Steven Tyler speculated earlier this year that the outing, named after their latest album, could go on for two years. With the addition of new shows, it looks like his goal is not too far off.
Like their tour-mates, The Cult have had a vigorous summer of travel. The enigmatic Ian Astbury-fronted band has been on the road since May and are only taking a brief break before setting out again. Their album, Beyond Good And Evil, released in June, is the first new material they’ve put out since 1994.
