Dylan Goes To College
The intrepid troubadour is taking a three-week break now that his recent European tour has ended, but will launch a string of college arena gigs in the Northeast this fall, beginning October 29 at the University of Wisconsin’s Kohl Center in Madison.
He’ll bring his campus caravan to Northwestern University (Evanston, Ill.), Indiana University (Bloomington), Purdue University (W. Lafayette, Ind.) Miami University (Oxford, Ohio), University of Michigan (Ann Arbor), Duquesne University (Pittsburgh), Lehigh University (Bethlehem, Pa.) and Boston University. The itinerary currently ends at the Paul Tsongas Arena in Lowell, Mass.
Dylan has been on the road most of the year but has still found time for other projects. Most recently, he contributed a live cover of the Robert Hunter-Jerry Garcia classic “Friend of the Devil” to Stolen Roses, a collection of performances of Grateful Dead songs by artists including Elvis Costello, Henry Rollins, Patti Smith, the Persuasions, and the Stanford University marching band.
